Michael Barraclough says: Tom Cook recast Ken Sheffield's 'Faithful Swain' as a sicilian circle. This has the same figures, but at times it will be different people doing them. Becasue 1s remain 1s and 2s remain 2s througout the dance, doing the dance as a sicilian circle gets rid of the end effects and the significant differences between the roles of the 1s and 2s.
Michael Barraclough says: The original dance is called 'The Constant Lover' but Ken Sheffield chose to call his adaptation 'The Faithful Swain'
