I am convinced that I collected this dance from Tom Hinds when he called it at the Glen Echo Friday Night Dance in 2008. He, however, denies any knowledge of this! He does have a dance called Rough Ride (based on Erik Weberg’s dance Joy Ride) which as a Lines Forward & back at the top, compresses the two pousettes and one of the shuttles into 8 bars and has a right & left instead of the promenade over. Maybe that was what I danced and this is what I dreamed.
