Charles says "I wrote this dance for Wendy Knight in recognition of all the work she has undertaken in furthering the cause of English foilk dance through organised teaching and by promoting and establishing dancing events. Sadly, Wendy dies of leukemia in March 2005. She will be sorely missed.":
