C1 1-2: The second couple leads up the center while the first couple casts to second place. 3-4: Lines fall back a double. 5-6: Lines come forward. 7-8: All set to partner. C2 1-4: All circle left halfway. 5-6: All pass partner right shoulder. 7-8: All turn single left.

John says "Mozart wrote quite a few contradances, although they are not generally played today. I believe that the contradance form was a European version of the English country dance. This dance was written for a string quartet whose members played at the dance in Harvard Square and were to perform at the advanced dance in Brookline."
