hmmm...if Jonathan wrote this tune, then he must be in about his 20th incarnation, since it appears in a source from the late 14th-early 15th century that's now in the British Museum...

It does say "traditional" with B3 by Jonathan Jensen. My understanding is that Fred wrote the dance to the original tune, found that he needed more music, and Jonathan wrote the extra B3
